Toledo Zoo, Arctic Fountain - Toledo, Ohio

Created in 2003, this painting depicts the lively fountain visitors are greeted with upon entering the Toledo Zoo. Sculpted by artist Pat Wagenman, the fountain depicts a ringed seal diving for open water with a polar bear mother and her cubs in pursuit. Water cascading over stony ledges delights the senses year round.

Toledo Zoo, Carnivore Café - Toledo, Ohio

Created in 2003, this painting may bring back some fond memories of days gone by for adults and fun recollections of the not-so-distant past for children. Erected in 1927, the Carnivora building originally housed the Toledo Zoo’s big cats and great apes. In 1993, it was transformed into the festive, neon-lit Carnivore Café where visitors now dine in the cages.

The Clazel - Bowling Green, OH

Created in 1994, this painting of the Clazel Theater is sure to inspire many recollections of movie nights of the past and thoughts of catching a show in the future. Ohio’s oldest single-screen movie house, the Clazel still features first-run movies along with community events and civic productions.

Created in 1996, this classic piece of Americana depicts a familiar sight in almost any small town. Located on the corner of East Court and North Main Street, the Corner Grill is famous for its coffee and big breakfasts (served anytime) as well as classic hamburgers and hot dogs.

Dale’s Bar and Grill - Maumee, Ohio

Created in 1996, this painting reflects what most Maumee residents know is a staple of the community. Situated on the corner of Conant and Wayne streets, Dale’s has been serving beer and spirits to the locals for more than eight decades. The building was erected in 1890 and the bar and grill was established in 1920.

Easystreet Café - Bowling Green, Ohio

Created in 1994, this painting is sure to get many taste buds watering. Located on South Main Street in Bowling Green, this laid-back establishment is famous for its extensive drink menu, huge onion rings and big salads. This painting is sure to make any transplanted BG resident long for a trip home.

Junction Bar and Grill - Bowling Green, Ohio

Created in 1996, this painting depicts the famous Bowling Green bar and grill on a glimmering summer day. Many former BG falcons will have fond memories of nights spent partying or hanging out with friends at this popular nightspot located on South Main Street.

Koral Hamburg - Maumee, Ohio

Created in 1996, this painting reflects the grandeur of this historic building in downtown Toledo. Located on Erie Street in the heart of downtown, the Courthouse is a setting that many people associate with Toledo as they think back on their days in the glass city.

Maumee Indoor Theater - Maumee, Ohio

Created in 1988, this painting is reminiscent of the days when you could still see a movie for a dollar at the corner of Conant Street and the Anthony Wayne Trail. Many local residents can recall the good day days of the Maumee Indoor and all of those memories may come flooding back after seeing this painting.

Mudhens, Fifth Third Field Main Entrance - Toledo, Ohio

A new addition to this series, this painting captures the thrill of a day at the ballpark. Erected in 2002 in Toledo’s historic Warehouse District, Fifth Third Field brought the Mud Hens back to Toledo and attendance at games continues to break records.

Museum of Science - Toledo, Ohio

Created in 2003, this painting illustrates a beautiful day at the Toledo Zoo. The Museum of Science is one of several historically significant buildings at the zoo. Built in 1938, it has hosted a wide array of state-of-the-art educational and interpretive exhibits in its long history.

Pisanello’s Pizza - Bowling Green, Ohio

Created in 1996, this painting may bring a smile to many faces of former or current Bowling Green residents who have feasted on the famous Pisanello’s pizza. Located at West Court and North Main Streets, the down-home pizza parlor is a favorite of Bowling Green State University students.

SamB’s - Bowling Green, Ohio

Created in 1996, this painting shows one of Bowling Green’s favorite restaurants in all of its glory. Located on North Main Street, SamB’s is one of the most beloved restaurants in the area and stands out on Main Street because of its eye-catching red awning.

Created in 2003, this painting is a welcome site to everyone who visits the Toledo Zoo because it means the fun is about to begin! The whimsical archway, adorned with familiar animals, welcomes visitors into the Toledo Zoo’s entry plaza, which features North Star Trading Post, Timberline Bakery and the Visitor Services building.

The Historic Church of St. Patrick - Toledo, Ohio

Created in 1986, this painting takes a reverent look at this historic downtown Toledo church. Located on Avondale Avenue, the original church was built from 1862-63 but became unsafe and was taken down. The new church was built from 1892 to 1900 and on Christmas day of 1900, the new church was used for the first time.

Wixey Bakery - Toledo, Ohio

Created in 1990, this painting features a shot of Wixey Bakery, famous for their cakes and pastries throughout south Toledo and Maumee. Located on Glendale Avenue next to Lickity Split ice cream and close to Harvard Elementary School, Wixey’s was (and still is) a delicious treat.
